John: For example, I have a MSN messenger. I've used it for 1 month. Everything is OK.  Suddenly,  someone remotely hack my computer.  He let my MSN messenger work no more. 

Me: How does it work no more. 

John: Plenty. For example,  When I click open the MSN messenger,  the internet Explorer will be opened automatically.  And then, a web site of http://xxxx,.com will pop up. Normally, what should I do?

Me: Normally,  you should go to the download site of MSN messenger.  And then, you download a "New" MSN messenger.

John: Yes, I did that. However,  the MSN messenger which I download is not a normal MSN messenger.  It's a MSN messenger with virus. Why? Because,  someone hack the download site and change the code there.

Me: Actually,  how many times did this "Someone" attack you by this method?

John: From 2004 to 2012, this person use this method to attack me at least 60 times. On average,  1 time each 2 months.

Me: What time did it happen?

John: Usually,  it happened between 12:00pm to 18:00pm.

Me: You are a Hong Konger. Kelvin is a New Yorker.  You guys have 12 hours time-zone difference.

John: Ok.

Me: Such attack is not done by Kelvin.   Why? 12:00 pm - 18:00 pm of Hong Kong is 00:00 am - 06:00 am of New York. At that time, Kelvin is on the bed sleeping.  How can he be awake staring at the monitor ?

John: Good. Those attacks were done by Kelvin's deputy.  This deputy is called Mr. Gao. He stay in Beijing. He holds a Green Card.  He's an American.  He's at the same time zone of me.

Me: Yet, to hack your computer,  Mr. Gao need a machine which can create a very destructive signal to the telecom's facility.   Mr. Gao's computer of Beijing can't create such a signal.

John: True. In fact, Kelvin gave Mr. Gao a hacker's packages of which Mr. Gao click a button,  a signal will go from Mr. Gao's computer of Beijing to a super machine in New York.  And then,  this super machine of New York will on behalf of Mr. Gao to send a very destructive signal to the telecom's facility.

Me: Ok.

John: Finally,  the telecom's facility will send a very destructive signal to the "Download Web site" as well as my computer.

Me: This super machine is in New York.  It can't be in Beijing.

John: That's true. Even the America's army don't have such a machine,  not to mention Kelvin's deputy,  e.g., Mr. Gao.
