John : These 2 articles mention about energy loss. You might have a look first.
.
.
John : If the loss enter the ground,  it's an insertion loss, else, it's reflected loss.
.
Me: Ok.
.
John : See the Pictures above.  It's a GPS circuit.
.
Me: Ok.
.
John:   See the 2nd picture. The local oscillator and the Radio frequency mix together and form a central frequency of absorption.
.
Me: Ok.
.
John : The more deviation from the central absorption frequency, the lesser the absorbed gain,  and, the more reflected loss.
.
Me: Ok.
.
John : The job of hacker is to avoid the loss.
.
Me: Ok.
.
John : In this case, what sort of loss should hacker avoid ?
.
Me: Reflected loss.
.
John : Why isn't it an inserted loss?
.
Me: I didn't see a route to the ground.  In another words, there is no route for those carrier wave of the frequency which is  far away from the central absorption frequency to enter the ground .
.
John: Since there's no route to the ground,  it's a reflection loss.
.
Me : Logically,  I believe so.
